The Solution

The Haskins lettering and bumblebee at West End and Roundstone were both manufactured and installed by us.

The entrance signage had to go through planning, which wasn’t surprising given the bee’s increase in size!

Using the designer’s spec, the huge bumblebee was manufactured as a shaped powder coated aluminium sign tray with vinyl graphics applied to the face.  The sheer size and shape of the bee made manoeuvring it from A to ‘Bee’ tricky! But ‘can’t do’ isn’t in the positive vocabulary, so we accepted the challenge happily!

We didn’t want the bee flying off, so we secured the critter to the building with a hidden bracket. We called in the experts and had the bracket specially designed by our metal fabrication partners, ensuring the desired look and feel of the signage was achievable.
